Casa Balat: the perfect home to find balance and peace
Casa Balat is a green, sustainable and 100% energy self-sufficient project, blossomed from a 300-year old farmhouse set in the hills above breathtaking Noto, Sicily. Featuring a saltwater pool, gorgeous gardens and an open air Shala for Yoga, Meditation and all sorts of spiritual practices, it's only one hour drive distance from Catania Airport. The surroundings include the beaches of Vendicari reserve, the gorges of Cavagrande reserve, Noto Antica ancient ruins and many UNESCO World Heritage sites.
STAY AT THE CASA
Swimming pool, Yoga Shala, nature hikes and comfort
Casa Balat offers a private saltwater pool, an outdoor kitchen with BBQ facilities, huge gardens and two heactars of land to explore stunning surroundings outdoor, with an open air shala for those who want practice yoga. Indoor the villa uses a forward-thinking and incredibly energy-efficient air-conditioning and heating system which will guarantee maximal comfort to up to 10 guests, with a close-to-zero carbon footprint for the 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 4 fully equipped bathrooms and the state-of-the-art Bulthaup kitchen.
THE ROOMS
Casa Balat offers accommodation in 3 bedrooms for up to 10 guests (two of which with en-suite bathroom) with towels and bed linen provided. All rooms offer air-conditiong / heating, as well as direct access to the outdoor areas.
THE YOGA SHALA
A wooden deck sized over 100m2 and positioned in the most remote corner of the land around Casa Balat, is the ideal place to practice / teach Yoga, Meditation or Pranayama surrounded by stunning nature.
THE POOL
The saltwater pool, immersed in the green of our gardens, uses an electrolytic cell system which allow the water to be safe and crystal clear without the use of chlorine, avoiding chlor's bad effects on your skin and eyes and on the surrounding environment.
THE LIVING SPACES
All guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, a living room with fireplace, a laundry room, two extra complete bathrooms and two outdoor showers.
THE GARDENS
The Casa luscious gardens are full of fruit trees and feature hammocks and chill decks for the perfect afternoon nap surrounded by nature. Also the property extends for two hectars of beuatiful sicilian land.
THE SURROUNDINGS
Discover the beauties of Noto and Sicily. In the 30 min driving radius you will find unique UNESCO Heritage sites like Noto, Palazzolo Acreide and Noto Antica as well as breathtaking nature reserves like Vendicari and Cavagrande.
